(S)potted: Machines Room

Vyner street, known for it’s contemporary art galleries, is now becoming the go to street for makers and hackers with the recent opening of Technology Will Save us at number 1 Vyner street, and a larger makers space, gallery and café: Machine Rooms, part of the  cultural innovation hub Limewharf (number 45 Vyner street) founded by Thomas Ermacora.  As the name suggests they are home to numerous useful machines including a laser cutter, desktop milling, embroidery, a kiln as well as an electronics workbench, tools and a communal workspace to work ideas with other people. For novices they do of course offer training and inductions.
