(S)potted: Republic of the Moon

The moon has been intriguing and mysterious to humans since time began and although it’s been 4 decades since Niel Armstrong took his giant leap for mankind, we all still seem to be fascinated by this glowing globe in the sky. London based arts organsiation Arts Catalyst  specialise in art that critically engages in science, have curated an exhibition ‘Republic of the Moon’ exploring the moon and its many facets. Artists Agnes Meyer-Brandis, Leonid Tishkov, Katie Paterson, Liliane Lijn, WE COLONISED THE MOON, Hagen Betzwieser, Sue Corke, Joanna Griffin, Tomas Saraceno are invited take over the rather distressed 4 floors of Bargehouse in South Bank for a diverse interpretation of lunar activity.
